Aside from learning my writing craft in college, time spent as a professional journalist, article writer and photographer, I also continue to educate myself frequently on new technologies and different venues of writing.
I always look for new directions and knowledge that I can put under my professional "belt" that will help my clients with their business. I always embrace positive change.
Some of my favorite places for extended training:
Creative Writing Service was begun in 1996 as a part-time business for writing articles and shooting photos for different publications nationally and locally.
Over time, CWS has incorporated other skills such as market research and analysis, and report design.
CWS also does marketing and sales campaign consulting and will do copywriting for marketing materials.
In 2009, CWS went to a full-time business and has also added in design and article writing in the kitchen & bath design industry.
Need copy written about your new line of cabinets or a new appliance ready to enter the market place? I can help you with sales copy and I know the right questions to ask for the information your customer needs to know.

JENNIFER HOLMES was a former ballerina for several ballet companies, including the Houston and Dallas Ballet companies.
During her 26-year career, she traveled all over the United States, as well as Europe and China in the 1980s. Her most popular roles were that of the Swan Queen in the full length "Swan Lake," Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen in "The Nutcracker," Giselle and Myrtha in "Giselle," the Firebird in "The Firebird," and leading roles in Balanchine ballets like "Concerto Barocco," "Serenade," and the Siren in "Prodigal Son."
After retiring from the stage, she attended college, first at Tarrant County Junior College, and then at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. She graduated from TCU in 1995 with a degree in Journalism, with emphasis in history and interior design.
Jennifer worked as city reporter and photographer for the daily newspaper, Weatherford Democrat, after graduation. In 1996, she opened Creative Writing Service, a registered business in Texas and has been an independent writer ever since.
Jennifer has also spent many years in market research and analysis for college book publisher, Harcourt College Publishers.
In the last four years, she has also worked in interior design for window treatments and designed numerous kitchens and bathrooms for her clients.
When needed, Jennifer hires independent writers to help with any overload of projects.
Jennifer can write in all areas listed below and is always willing to learn something new to write about!
